Justin Japour
Justin Japour joined the Sunset Hills family at the beginning of 2010 and is a Class “A” PGA Certified Professional with a Master’s Degree in Business Management. Mr. Japour has been in the golf business since 1998 and has received PGA Certifications in Golf Operations as well as Teaching & Coaching. In College, he played at Valdosta State University where he earned Academic All-American, Honorable Mention All-American, and Student Athlete- of- The Year. Mr. Japour started his golf professional career with Sequoia Golf Clubs. While at Sequoia, he was responsible for golf operations at multiple clubs simultaneously, high traffic facilities, and low volume clubs while being accountable for member satisfaction, service, and profitability. Through all of his experience, Mr. Japour has maintained a deep rooted passion for golf as his main goal is to give the best all around experience possible at Sunset Hills Country Club.

Chelsea Church
Carrollton has been home to Chelsea Church as far back as she can remember. A graduate of Central High School, Chelsea went on to the University of West Georgia where she earned her Bachelor’s of Business Administration in Marketing. Chelsea began her career at Sunset Hills Country Club in 2012 and is currently our Membership Director. Servant leadership is at the core of her professional principles, and she strives to give exemplary service both at SHCC and in the community. She lives in Carrollton with her husband Kyle and their son Liam.

Katelynn Johnson
Born and raised in Augusta, Ga., Katelynn Johnson grew up around the game of golf, playing both in high school and recreationally with her family. Katelynn attended Valdosta State and University of West Georgia, and now resides in Carrollton with her husband and two beautiful children. Katelynn joined the team at Sunset Hills after operating her own business for the past seven years, and is excited to apply her experience in sales and marketing here at Sunset Hills.
Grace Li began her career at Sunset Hills Country Club in 2012. She brings years of accounting and auditing experience to her role as our Controller here in SHCC. Grace has extensive knowledge in GAAP and GAAS. Prior to joining SHCC, she worked in public accounting and state government auditing. Grace holds a Master of Professional Accounting degree from University of West Georgia and is a licensed CPA in Georgia. She lives in Douglasville with her husband Li Cao and enjoys playing ping-pong ball and working out at leisure time.

Tyler Spence
Tyler Spence graduated from Central High School in 2007 where he played basketball and golf for 4 years as well as 2 years of cross country. He attended Toccoa Falls College in Toccoa Falls, Georgia from 2007-2012 where he was a member of the golf team and graduated with a Bachelor’s in Biblical Theology and minor in Counseling/Psychology. From there, he found his true passion in golf course turfcare and graduated from North Georgia Technical College with an Associate’s in Turf and Golf Course Management in 2014. Tyler previously worked at The Orchard Golf & Country Club in Clarkesville, Ga. from 2012-2013 and Innsbruck Golf Resort in Helen, Ga. from 2013-2015.

Glenn Barnett
A UGA graduate, Glenn received his culinary training at the famed Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, NY. Upon graduation, he worked at Tom Tom a Bistro under Master Chef Thomas Catherall, then The Dining Room at the Ritz Carlton Buckhead under renowned Chef Guenter Seagar. He was instrumental in the opening of Canoe, a cutting-edge California style Farm to Fork dining destination on the banks of the Chattahoochee. The next 10 years would find Chef Barnett forging his own creative style at the Historic Vinings Inn and River Room Restaurants, running culinary operations for Google Atlanta, opening Life University’s Culinary Center and most recently running culinary operations for Carlyle’s Catering. He was Executive Chef at Sunset Hills from 2013-2015 and is eager to promote the interaction of local seasonal specials with a variety of wines and spirits
Housekeeping Supervisor
Rebecca Cowart
Rebecca Cowart has been with Sunset Hills Country Club as the Housekeeping Supervisor since 2009. Ms. Cowart is originally from Savannah, Georgia and moved to Carrollton in 1992 with her family. The members, employees, and atmosphere is what Ms. Cowart loves best about Sunset Hills and looks forward to many years with the Sunset family.
Golf Course Superintendent
Adam Hoffman
Adam has been working in the golf industry for 23 years. It was a high school summer job that evolved into a career that took him to a variety of different courses. Adam earned a degree in Ornamental Horticulture and Landscape Design with a concentration in Turfgrass Management from the University of Tennessee in 2004. He spent the next 10 years serving as an Assistant Superintendent at several clubs in Tennessee and Georgia including three years at Marietta Country Club and five years here at Sunset Hills from 2010 - 2014. Since leaving Sunset Hills in 2014 Adam served as Director of Golf Maintenance overseeing multiple courses in Dekalb county, and most recently as the Golf Course Superintendent of The Frog Golf Club in Villa Rica. Adam has been married to Betsy Hoffman for 13 years and they have four children ages 9,7,4, and 2 which keep them busy for most of their time. Betsy is a teacher working in Douglas county and they currently live in Villa Rica.
